Try a series of position-time and velocity-time SmartGraphs, and get “smart” hints and feedback as you learn about motion, acceleration due to gravity, and more.
SmartGraphs activities help students understand graphs and the concepts represented in graphs. Five activities for physical science are now available, all intended to help students understand position-time graphs, velocity-time graphs, acceleration due to gravity, and related concepts. These ideas are included in nearly every physics and physical science course in both middle and high schools.
The SmartGraphs project is conducting an experimental study of the effectiveness of these activities in about 80 classrooms. Results will be available in a few months.
