Christopher Lore
Research Associate
Christopher is the Principal Investigator on the SeismicML project and also works on several other Earth science-related projects, such as the Pele project, YouthQuake, and APLUS. His work focuses on translating the authentic practices and methods of real scientists into levels suitable for middle and high school students. Christopher enjoys designing Earth systems models, simulations, and data visualizations that allow students to investigate otherwise inaccessible geoscience phenomena. His background is in laboratory geochemistry where he experimented with element and mineral interactions at high temperatures and pressures simulating the environment of Earth’s crust. Christopher holds a B.S. and M.S. in Geology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
