The Massachusetts Association of Science Teachers (MAST) is a professional organization dedicated to improving science education at all levels. MAST is the state chapter of the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) and acts as your representative on national and state policies concerning science education. The MAST Conference 2025: The Importance of Sensemaking in Science, is a day laser-focused on turning curiosity into understanding. Engaging presentations will center on four themes: Instructional Strategies for Sensemaking, Making Sense of Data, Connecting to Local Phenomena, and AI Tools, Ethics, and Classroom Implementation.
