Deeply Digital STEM Learning
10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
The future of education demands a new perspective, and today’s technology and capabilities make it possible. Across all STEM topics, mathematics understanding and practices can play out in new ways thanks to advances in educational technology. Cutting-edge technology and approaches such as modeling and simulation and technologies for data collection, exploration and analysis can contribute to deep learning and aid in the development of essential practices in science and engineering across STEM topics. By examining how mathematics understanding weaves into these topics, we can broaden our outlook at how to approach infusing the importance of mathematics across disciplines and contribute to important new advances in learning and research.
