The theme for 2013 MEES conference is “Strengthening Communities: Branching Out, Reaching In.” The conference offers opportunities to explore today’s most pressing environmental topics. The Massachusetts Environmental Education Society is dedicated to the promotion, preservation, and improvement of environmental education in the state and region.

High-Adventure Science: Making and Defending Scientific Claims in the Face of Uncertainty

The High-Adventure Science project is bringing the excitement of frontier science into the classroom, engaging students in some of the great, unanswered questions in science. This free online curriculum, which uses video interviews with scientists, interactive computer models, and critical thinking questions has helped students develop good scientific argumentation skills.
