Lynn BryanCo-PI Dr. Lynn Bryan holds a joint appointment as Professor in the Departments of Curriculum & Instruction and Physics & Astronomy, Purdue University. Her areas of expertise include physics education, science teacher professional development, and science teacher knowledge. She has served as PI and Co-PI on numerous state and federally funded projects. For Sensing Science Through Modeling Matter (S2M2) Lynn will lead the instructional components of the S2M2 project including coordinating the collaboration with participating schools, designing and implementing the teacher professional development course, overseeing the iterative design and enhancements of the units, and supervising the implementation and support of the S2M2 instruction in the Indiana schools. In addition, she will contribute to the research components on student learning (e.g., design and validation of assessment instruments, data collection, and analysis).
