Lucy Blagg is a software engineer located in Providence, Rhode Island. Before beginning her career in coding, she worked as an educator with students of all ages, primarily teaching creative writing and art classes. She is thrilled to be able to use her love of creative problem-solving to help students learn STEM and see the world in new and exciting ways. Lucy graduated from U.C.L.A. with a B.A. in English Literature and received her M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the California Institute of the Arts. In her free time she enjoys painting, playing music, writing poems, and being in nature.

- What was your childhood stuffed animal?
- A teddy bear named Teddy
- Best adventure you’ve ever had?
- In between my sophomore and junior years of college, I worked on a farm in Montana, where I met some folks who took me on a backpacking trip through Yellowstone National Park. It was unbelievably beautiful. After three days of hiking, we went swimming in the Boiling River. Magical!

- A Wave by John Ashbery
