Scrum Master/Project Manager
Kiley McElroy-Brown is both a scrum master and a project manager at the Concord Consortium. As a scrum master, she helps oversee the development of technology by facilitating effective communication between project teams and software engineers, making sure that project goals and scope is understood across teams, and maintaining development timelines. She is knowledgeable in Agile methodology and scrum, earning her certification as a Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance in 2019. As a project manager, she is responsible for overseeing the execution of short- and long-term goals for the project, coordinating with teachers implementing our educational innovations, and collaborating with project leaders and researchers. Currently, she is the project manager for the ConnectedBio and GeoCode projects.
Kiley holds a B.S. in Biology from Bridgewater State University and an M.S. in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Before joining the Concord Consortium, she worked as an instructor and teaching technology specialist at the University of Massachusetts Boston, but has also worked in various roles such as, a biotech laboratory technician and a women’s lacrosse coach at the collegiate level.
